Running for a Cause

“Those whose hope is in Hashem/God will have renewed strength; they will grow a wing, like eagles; they will run and not grow tired, they will walk and not grow weary.” Isaiah 40:31

The Jerusalem Marathon (held March 25, a cold, rainy day this year)  attracts thousands of runners annually, taking participants through the streets of Jerusalem to witness first-hand the majesty and beauty of the Holy City. Runners come from all walks of life, religious, secular, Jewish, non-Jewish and enjoy the solidarity and camaraderie of sharing a common cause and love for Israel. Participants not only benefit from the physical activity of running or walking the route, but raise funds for dozens of organizations that provide services and support to those in need. Emunah is proud that numerous of our Residential Homes participate, bringing dozens of students and staff  to join. Emunah participants help to raise funds for other causes (organizations), thus, giving back to the community.
