EMUNAH and The War in the North

Thousands of families continue to live away from their homes, loved ones and communities. After almost a year where tens of thousands of Israel’s citizens have been essentially homeless, jobless and limited, if any schooling for our children, we pray for Peace! Unfortunately, with thousands of rockets being launched indiscriminately into Israeli populated cities and communities, the current war in the North is critical to enable the citizens to return home safely and rebuild their lives. While the IDF is doing everything to ensure that Hezbollah is no longer attacking Israelis without consequence and to head off any oncoming attacks, it has meant that the Home Front Command has had to implement severe security measures to ensure everyone’s safety. This includes the closing of all schools, day care centers, youth programs and elderly services. After nearly a year at war – Israelis across the country are emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted. EMUNAH is a beacon of light for many of these families, providing support services and resources where possible!

To all of our EMUNAH families and centers in Afula, Haifa and the Krayot and
to our evacuees from Kiryat Shmona – we are thinking of you and praying for your safety!

To all the parents and children who attend the 17 EMUNAH Child Care Centers located in the northern region and are not able to attend classes due to the daily bombardment of rockets and sirens, we stand with you in solidarity during this most devastating and difficult time. Together, we will continue to pray for the recovery of the wounded, for the return of the abductees and the victory of the soldiers of the Israel Defense Forces.Together, and with EMUNAH, we will win!! AM YISRAEL CHAI!
