Summer is the time for graduations for students all over the world, and at EMUNAH’s five residential children’s homes it is no different!
This past Thursday, 16 of our children from the EMUNAH Achuzat Sara Residential Home located in the city of Bnei Brak, graduated and were given a beautiful ceremony marking their success and entry into the ‘adult world’!
For the first time, both girls and boys graduated, making this an extraordinary moment
for EMUNAH Achuzat Sara and all of the children present. The graduates were joined by their
families, the rest of the Achuzat Sara children, their counselors and staff as they took the
stage to share how much their years at the home meant to them. They related what their
plans for the future are, including serving in the IDF, attending college or vocational training and pursuing careers in the firleds of technology and medicine. Each student reflected on the care and love they were given by the staff and counselors of EMUNAH, and the many lessons they’ve learnt that will accompany them in every step of their lives.
Beautiful, moving speeches were given by Director of Achuzat Sara, Yair Solomon,
Emunah Israel Chairwoman Yifat Sela, Chair of Achuzat Sara Dina Hahn and of course
the graduates themselves. We are so proud of these graduates and look forward to
seeing all they accomplish in the future!
